Cheese Roles
The third dish is cheese roles. I'm not really sure who created these cheese roles but they're famous here, It's really simple and easy. It's a dish you put on you're Dessert table. heres how its done:
- you will need cheese and Samboosa leaves,
- Take 1 Samboosa leave and cut it in half,
- Cut the cheese like what you see in the picture,
- Put the cheese on the edge of the Samboosa leave,
- Role it,
- use a mixture of water and flour as a glue,
- Repeat until you have the about you want,
- paint the pan with butter,
- butter the roles too,
- when done put the pan in an oven ( pre heat the oven)
- at medium temperature leave the pan for almost 15 to 20 minutes or until the colour of the roles become light brown or golden,
- put the roles in a nice plate and pour Sheera* or honey on the roles.
Enjoy!
*Sheera:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cups water
- mix it in heat until boiling
- leave it to cool down
- pour it on cheese roles
