Cupcakes & cookies

So I have been clearing my books that I don't need anymore.

Separating school books and other books to categories (ones I need and ones I don't need anymore)

And I found this book that my cousin gave me as a gift!
Another hobby of mine is baking. So I thought I should cook each recipe in this book and blog about it and take pictures of the cupcakes and cookies!
I will let you guys know when I will start cooking and blogging which will be soon.

"The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time."

Candles and Bokeh!

"Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared."

Bokeh photography is really easy. you just have to zoom in and focus on a really close object with lights behind it.

I like using candles with bokeh. my mother loves candles so I can find it anywhere in my house.

There was no Electricity when I took this picture. so my mother told me to to put candles everywhere around the house so i took a couple of pictures of the candles.

My camera!

"Do you ever tell a chef what brand of oven he uses?.. no, you just say the food is great"

I have a Canon 1000D. I don't really like the quality of the pictures it takes, sometimes the pictures have noise. and the pop up flash is annoying! The pop up flash doesn't work sometimes. but it does what i want it to do in terms of manual setting like shutter speed, exposure, apature and ISO.

Although I said some bad things about my camera, I still love using it. I took really nice pictures with my canon.

My home town

Sur is my home town.
Its a beautiful place and I really enjoy it every time I go there and visit my family.
Sur is famous for making boats made of wood imported from India.

This picture was taken at 6AM!.. most photographers call sunrise and sunset hours "the magic hour", because most pictures that are taken at these times of the day are Amazing.

Slow Shutter and light

Personally I love playing with lights and low shutter speed setting on my camera. I can create any shape I want and it would look pretty.

It was a rainy day when i took this picture. rainy days in Oman? thats something really exciting!

I used HDR editing which made the picture more interesting with the texture of the background. The light i used is the flash light on my iPhone.

My first post

"You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are
doomed if you don’t try." - Beverly Sills

Have you ever tried something you've never done before?... Writing and blogging it!
Writing isn't something I've enjoyed. I never thought I was good enough when I was in school. I still don't think I'm good at writing. but I'm going to try blogging..

In this blog, you'll see the different pictures I take, with quotes i find on the internet or my thoughts about the pictures.

These are my first two pictures I want to talk about, recently I learnt how to do the "splatter affect" on photoshop. my first try was a fail! but I didn't stop trying. I ended up creating a wonderful picture.

First try on "splatter affect"

final try on "splatter affect"

Feel free to criticise and tell me what I did wrong <3
